Browns' Deshaun Watson faces ridicule during Saudi Arabia trip
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson raised eyebrows on Tuesday when he boasted about his trip to Saudi Arabia and Prince Abdullah bin Mosad.
Watson posted photos and appeared in videos with NFL4ARAB on social media. He expressed his hope that American football would come to the Middle Eastern country.

“I had a great time visiting Saudi Arabia and learned a lot about its native culture and society,” Watson wrote to X. “And I also heard a lot about Al-Nassar, Al-Al-Wali, Al-Hilal, Al-Zaim, Al-Ahli fans and Al-Ittihad songs.
“A special thank you to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince @Saudi49er for his hospitality and generosity. And by the grace of God, we'll be seeing (soccer emojis) in Saudi Arabia soon.”

NFL fans reacted to Watson's trip, with many believing it was a paid PR trip. Some called for his public relations team to be fired for the trip.
“Thanks to this tweet this guy got the bag and he's going to risk his life for it,” one fan wrote to X.
Another fan wrote, “Tone-deaf personified.”
Fans seem to be more impressed by the shot of Watson at the scene, which his girlfriend Jilly Anais posted on Instagram.
Watson was traded from the Houston Texans to the Browns as he faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct. The civil suit against Watson ended in a settlement.

He signed a five-year, $250 million contract extension upon joining Cleveland. Since then, he has appeared in just 12 games. He went 8-4 with 2,217 passing yards and 14 touchdown passes in those starts.
