Katy Perry has a new source of inspiration for her future music.
“Now I can create from a different space,” Perry said in an interview with Fox News Digital at the American Idol Top 10 Tastemakers event held at the Astor Hotel in Hollywood, California on Monday night. .
“I feel really happy and complete and loved. It's different when you're an artist, because you usually write songs out of pain,” she said. “But really, I think the biggest lie that artists have been sold is that in order to become great creators, you have to continue to live with pain.

Host Jenna Bush spotted Perry carrying a clear bag containing a piece of paper that read “KP6: Top Secret” at the Breakthrough Awards ceremony held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on April 13. He pointed out that he had done so, fueling speculation about his upcoming album. .

When Perry announced that she was stepping down from her role as a judge on American Idol during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in February, she also teased that she was working on new music.
