Taylor Swift has thanked her Portuguese fans for making her feel “at home” during her first performance in the country.
After nearly two decades in the music industry, the Blank Space singer performed in Portugal for the first time, selling out two shows on his Eras tour at Lisbon's Estadio da Luz over the weekend.
On Sunday, Taylor shared photos from the concert, thanking her Portuguese fans for making her debut performance so special.
“I have officially left my heart in Lisbon,” she captioned the post. “It was my first time in Portugal and you all made me feel right at home. I will never forget the way you treated us, the amount of love and passion you showed, the way you danced with your hands up and screamed every single lyric!!”
Taylor ended her post with “Muito obrigada,” which means “thank you very much” in English.
The 34-year-old pop superstar told the crowd during a performance in Lisbon that he wished he had brought his previous concert tours to Portugal.
“The only thing I wish I could have done is brought everyone on tour to Lisbon to see you,” she said in a video posted to X/Twitter.
“I can honestly say that I've never seen an audience like this in my life,” she continued. “There were so many moments during this show where I was so distracted by how much fun the audience was having and how well I was performing that I forgot what to do or say next. I love this.”
The Eras Tour continues on Wednesday in Madrid, Spain.
