The Spice Girls reunion we've all been waiting for? The legendary 1990s girl group reunited over the weekend for member Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party.

In a video shared to Instagram by Victoria's husband David Beckham, all five of the original Spice Girls, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Mel C, stand together and pose together in 1997. They are dancing to the hit song “Stop” from 2017.

“I mean, come on,” the former soccer star captioned the post.

Victoria, known as Posh Spice when she was in the band, also shared a video of the impromptu performance, writing: “Best night ever!” happy birthday! I love you all so much! ”

Mel B (Scary Spice) reshared the video on her Instagram Story and added the hashtag #tourdatescomingsoon.

Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) also posted a throwback photo of the two singers performing together, as well as a photo of the 1995 film Tank Girl, which featured several of the Spice Girls, on Victoria's birthday. She shared a black and white shot of her audition. first time.

The Spice Girls first formed 30 years ago in 1994 and rose to pop stardom before going on hiatus at the turn of the century. In 2019, the group began a reunion tour in the UK, but Victoria did not attend, citing her busy schedule as a fashion designer.

“I will always be a Spice Girl and I'm so proud of everything I've achieved,” she said at the time. “I'm so proud of them. It's going to be a great show.”

She added, “Mentally, I'm definitely going to be there.”
