Reba McIntyre to host 59th Academy of Country Music Awards

It has been announced that Reba McEntire will host the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards on May 16th.

This ceremony will be McEntire's 17th time hosting an awards ceremony, the most by any artist. The country legend will take to the stage for a special performance featuring new songs.

“I am incredibly excited to host the 17th annual ACM Awards,” McEntire said in a statement. “It is an incredible honor to be associated with the past, present and future of the Academy of Country Music along with Amazon Prime Video. I can't wait to be in Texas and see you all there on May 16th!”

McIntyre has won 16 ACM Awards during his career and has been nominated for ACM Entertainer of the Year nine times, including winning in 1994. She also holds the record for most nominations for Female Artist of the Year.

The 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards will be streamed live on Prime Video on Thursday, May 16th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
