Perrie Edwards has hinted at more solo shows to come this year.
The Little Mix star, who recently played his first major show at the Capital Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium, says he feels most “satisfied” when he's on stage and can't wait to get back on stage again.
Speaking to the Official Charts Company about her live plans, she said: “Yes, for sure. I'd love to get back on that stage as often as possible.”
It's unbelievable. I missed being on stage. When I'm on stage, I feel so happy and so fulfilled.”
Perry is close to winning the title for her debut solo album, and admitted that the album's tear-jerking ballads have left her shedding many “sad tears.”
When asked if she has ever cried happy tears listening to her music, as her next single is called “Tears,” she replied, “I don't know if they're happy tears. I've definitely cried sad tears listening to ballads, but I've never cried happy tears.”
When asked if he had a title yet, the “Forget About Us” singer replied: “I think I do. Maybe, maybe, maybe!”
Perrie, who dropped her surname to pursue a solo career, recently admitted she feels “a lot more confident” now that her Little Mix bandmates are gone.
While girl group Wings has been on hiatus since 2022, Perry claims being on her own has given her a lot of confidence, as she can no longer rely on her girl group for “emotional support.”
She told Numero Netherlands magazine: “'I think I feel a lot more confident now because I don't have anyone to hide from.
“Before, the girls were there to support me, but now I have to step up. I have to push myself out of my comfort zone more than I ever have before.”
Perry released her first solo single, “Forget About Us,” in April, and is set to release “Tears” on June 21. She also admitted that every song on her upcoming album will contain deeply personal lyrics, including some about her soccer player fiancĂ© Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and their son, Axel.
She added to the magazine: “I drew inspiration from all over my life – from my relationship with Alex and my son Axel, from past friendships and relationships.”
“I literally put everything I've been through into the songs on this album, from what it feels like to be in love to the anxiety it causes.”
