Nova Music Festival Exhibition in New York City: Installation Photos


The Nova Supernova Sukkot gathering on October 7th was supposed to be a joyful celebration of music and unity, but a devastating attack by Hamas militants left more than 300 people dead. , dozens of people were taken hostage.

Despite calls for a ceasefire in Gaza, thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have been killed as violence and conflict continue. To honor those who lost their lives at Nova Music Festival and other events, Nova Music Festival founders will collaborate with creative director Royt Feingold to create a memorial installation in New York City this spring.

The exhibition, titled “Nova Music Festival Exhibition: October 7th at 6:29 a.m.,” will premiere in Tel Aviv for 10 weeks and open to the public in New York City starting Sunday (April 21st). . Nova's founders include Omri Sassi, Yoni Feingold, Ofir Amir, and Yagir Limoni, and its U.S. exhibition partners include Scooter Braun, Joe Teprow, and Josh Kaden.

Donations from the exhibition will go to Nova Healing Journeys, an initiative to support mental health treatment for victims of the October 7th massacre and their families. Tickets are available here.

It includes debris recovered from the festival site, including a burnt-out car, a bullet-riddled bathroom stall, and all personal belongings left behind. The New York exhibit also includes video testimonies from survivors, volunteers, and family members, as well as live footage taken from both festival attendees and Hamas militants on October 7.
