Meghan Trainor said that Rihanna is the artist she would most like to collaborate with.
The 30-year-old singer, who has three-year-old son Riley and 11-month-old son Barry with husband Daryl Sabara, said she would love to work with the “Umbrella” hitmaker in the future and that her experience as a mother would help the pair bond better.
She told media gathered at the Capital Summertime Ball with Barclays Card: ” [I] I love her, she's perfect… We both have boys so it's the same.”
Megan released her sixth album, Timeless, earlier this month and is currently preparing to embark on the promotional tour for the album, but will be enjoying a few weeks off in July.
Appearing at the pop extravaganza at London's Wembley Stadium, Meghan said: “I've been promoting my album Timeless non-stop so when I get home I'm going to have a bit of a break. People say I'm off in July but that's a joke. Then tour rehearsals start in August and I'll be on the road through September and October.”
The Timeless Tour marks the “All About That Bass” hitmaker's first tour since 2016, and she joked that she feels like she's “training for the Olympics.”
She recently said: “I feel great. I've never felt this good before. I've already told my family. I'm like, 'I'm training for the Olympics, OK?'”
“I want to work out, eat healthy and feel good when I dance and sing. I don't want to be out of breath, because right now I am!”
