Kendrick Lamar surprised the rap world by dropping another bombshell in Drake's direction during his “6:16 in LA” arrival on Friday (May 3).
Drake's Al Green-sampling diss track isn't yet available on streaming services and is currently only available on Kendrick Lamar's Instagram, but that didn't stop fans from going wild Friday morning ahead of the weekend. It didn't stop.
K. Dot accused Drake of having traitors within the OVO camp and of leaking information to the rebels, naming six members of God-related organizations, including Academics and Zach Bier.
“Did you ever think OVO was working for me?/Fake bullies, I hate bullies/You must be a terrible person/Everyone on the team knows you Whispering that you deserve it/Tootsie can't slide out of here, it's 'coming to the surface again,''' Lamar raps.
“6:16” arrives just three days after the scathing “Euphoria,” as fans, critics and others flooded social media with their thoughts on Kendrick's surprise attack, and for dissing Drake's “Push Up.” came the Compton legend's response.
“Kendrick, don't tell me you need a club banger…this rider music. Underground rap fan fever,” Hot 97 host Ebro Darden wrote.
another person Salute to academics During the war, names were left on both sides' trucks. “It's legendary that Academics was mentioned on diss records by both Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Love him or hate him, he's part of hip-hop history, it's objectively independent. A victory for the media,” they wrote.
On the other hand, Spotify carl cherry He added, “Sometimes I hear people say that Kendrick is too highbrow, that his lyrics are hard to understand. I've heard it several times during this fight. This is rap. You guys just have a low rap IQ.”
Some fans were left with their jaws on the floor when they learned that frequent Taylor Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff was a co-producer on 6:16 in LA. (Drake teased Lamar about collaborating with Swift on “Push Ups.”) “So this song is literally Taylor Made Okay Kendrick, I see.” drake fans said At X.
The debate over who would win in a Drake vs. Kendrick fight is sure to rage into the weekend as fans wait for the Six God's next move in this fight – his best move.

This may be the last time we see battle rap on a mainstream level. A lot of new rappers are solving problems on the street or aren't interested in and involved in the lyrics. We gotta enjoy Drake and Kendrick while they're here.

Unlike many people, I don't think Kendrick even hates Drake. He just doesn't take that nigga seriously, he paid for bread and relationships, so he wonders if someone that lame is still lame I think he's angry that he's walking around like that. We all know one of them.

Kendrick is living the dream of everyone who hates someone, but never really had a reason to hate him until the person he hated opened his mouth.

The craziest thing about Kendrick's song is that he plays guitar on an Al Green song that Drake's uncle sampled to diss him. It is very calculated in addition to all other intentions.

Looks like Drake really wants to diss everyone again. Kendrick's life is deadly boring. I know he has some issues with the rest. The 20-to-1 story was a winning strategy.
