Jess Glynne claims her music career was saved by her song 'Promise Me'.

The 34-year-old 'Rather Be' chart-topper revealed she considered quitting the music industry in the face of online criticism, but found the strength to continue after writing the song, which she “Jess'' from the newly released record.

According to the Daily Star, she said: “I think one of my fondest memories was when I was in L.A. going through a really tough time and really struggling and feeling really vulnerable.
