This year, Karol G and Fayed lead the way with 10 nominations each. She is followed by top candidate Karin Leong (6). Peso Pluma, Groupe Frontera, Xavi (5). Bad Bunny, Young Miko, Fuerza Regida, Maluma, Marshmello, and Yandel have 4 each. Fans can vote for their favorite artists on the LosHeat.TV app.
The awards ceremony, which will be held in the Dominican Republic on July 11, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, and this year there will be 10 new categories. This year's music video director. This year's album. Best viral song. Composer of the year. Great songs for video games, series, and movies. Best Tropical Artist. Best salsa artist. This year's fan club. And the best religious song.

Founded by Colombian music executive Diana Montes, Premios Heat recognizes renowned and up-and-coming artists who are making waves in the Caribbean and Latin American regions. The event will be held on the beach and will provide artists, media and attendees with the ultimate 'summer experience'.
Billboard celebrated the awards ceremony's 10th anniversary with a special edition of Premios Heat and the Dominican Republic in its April print issue.
