Gracie Abrams collaborates with Taylor Swift on new song “Us” – Music News

Gracie Abrams has teamed up with Taylor Swift for the new song “Us.”

Gracie has just released her new album, “The Secret of Us,” which features 13 tracks, including a collaboration with music superstar, “Us.”

The collaboration comes on the heels of Gracie opening for Taylor on the North American legs of her sold-out Eras Tour last year.

“Us” was co-written by the two singers and produced by frequent Taylor collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner.

In the song, Gracie and Taylor sing, “You know me too/ It felt like something old/ It felt like something sacred, soul bleeding/ So it felt like something I knew/ You're 29/ So why is it cold when I open the door?”

It has been speculated on social media that the song is about Gracie's rumoured ex-boyfriend Dylan O'Brien, but this has not been confirmed.

In a new interview with Billboard, Aaron gushed about the two hitmakers.

“It was so much fun watching the chemistry between Gracie and Taylor,” he said, “and watching in complete amazement and awe as Taylor recorded the vocal performance, produced it and built the world.”

The producer added that the collaboration has brought “everything into focus in a beautiful way” on the 24-year-old's new album.

Gracie's sophomore album, The Secret of Us, follows her debut album, Good Riddance, which was released last February.
