Skrillex and Fred are back again… they both announced on Friday (May 24) that they'll be expanding their U.S. summer tour schedule, performing a show together at San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza on June 1.
“Fred and I have a ton of new songs to try out so we'll be raving in San Francisco next week, bye,” Skrillex wrote in announcing the event on X. Tickets for the show went on sale Tuesday (May 28).
The last-minute show expands Skrillex's US summer tour schedule by a third, with the producer headlining Lightning in a Bottle near Bakersfield, California, last Sunday and also scheduled to play Lollapalooza in Chicago in August.
Meanwhile, Fred Again… will headline the Bonnaroo Festival in June before playing three headlining dates at the Frost Amphitheatre in Stamford, California from June 4 to 6. Skrillex also made a surprise appearance during Fred Again…'s show in Mexico City earlier this month.
The pair last performed together officially in the U.S. for the first time since headlining Coachella with Four Tet in 2023. The trio, who earned the nickname “Pangbourne House Mafia” after making music together in Pangbourne, England, replaced Frank Ocean as the festival's Sunday night closer after he declined to perform. The trio made their U.S. debut in February 2023 as a headliner at Madison Square Garden, selling out in two minutes.
Details about the San Francisco show are scarce, but the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department said the space can accommodate about 3,000 people.
