Eminem's “Houdini” topped this week's new music poll, which features artists across a variety of genres.

Music fans chose the superstar rapper's latest single as their favorite new song of the past week in a poll released by Billboard magazine on Friday (May 31).

Slim Shady's new song received 46% of the vote, taking the top spot beating out new releases by Foster the People (“Lost in Space”), Ira Star (“The Year I Turned 21”), Normani (“Candy Paint”) and Shaboozie (“Where I've Been Isn't Where I'm Going”).

“Houdini” is the lead single from Eminem's 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coeur de Glace), due for release this summer. The album follows 2020's Music to Be Murdered By, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

“Houdini” hit streaming services on Friday (May 31), and its splashy, superhero-themed music video features cameos from Pete Davidson, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and more.

Em announced his plans for a new album shortly after attending the 2024 NFL Draft in his hometown of Detroit. He used a clip that mocked an episode of Unsolved Mysteries featuring a cameo from 50 Cent. However, it was actually Dr. Dre who revealed the details about Em's upcoming album, during a late-night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in March.

Coming in second to “Houdini” in this week's poll is Foster the People's new song, “Lost in Space,” with 24% of the vote. The single is the first performance from the alt-pop hitmakers' just-released new album, Paradise State of Mind.
