Dua Lipa has reflected on the harrowing accident she experienced live onstage during her 2022 tour.
The accident-prone Whodini singer, 28, made headlines after taking a fall during a performance on his 2022 Future Nostalgia Tour.
The star, who is known for dropping his microphone mid-performance, has now revealed the reason behind his painful and embarrassing onstage blunder.
The Brit Award-winning star told SirixXM: “I've fallen a lot of times. I fell once in Barcelona while on tour and once in Milan in the same spot. It happened to be the hottest week in Europe. Some of my dancers were sweating more than usual.”
She went on to say that she has taken steps to avoid making the mistake in the future, explaining, “I had a little sweat drop and slipped up, so I had to change the choreography so that I wouldn't end up sweating in the part of the dance that I was about to start.”
Dua released her third album, Radical Optimism, earlier this month and will be heading out on tour in support of the album next month.
The Radical Optimism tour kicks off in Berlin, Germany on June 5th and will see the band perform across Europe, the US and the UK until mid-October.
Dua is also one of hundreds of performers taking part in the 2024 Glastonbury Festival, which runs from Wednesday, June 26th to Sunday, June 30th in Somerset, England.
