Dolly Parton has announced a visual orchestra project called “Threads: My Songs in Symphony.”

The “Jolene” hitmaker has quietly created “an all-night symphonic storytelling experience where she explores the threads of her life through song.”

Fans can look forward to “an innovative multimedia symphonic experience that will feature Dolly on screen and take audiences on a visual and musical journey through her songs, life and stories.”

It will feature “new and innovative orchestral arrangements of Dolly's hit songs.”

The music was arranged for orchestra by David Hamilton.

The musical will premiere in Nashville on March 20, 2025, performed by the Grammy Award-winning Nashville Symphony Orchestra, before traveling around the world.

“Threads: My Songs in Symphony” is a collaboration between Dolly, 78, and Schirmar Theatrical and Sony Music Publishing.

The “9 to 5” hitmaker said: “I'm so excited to be able to share my songs and the stories behind them in this beautiful new way. 'Threads: My Songs in Symphony' is a journey that tugs at the heartstrings of my life, and I hope to bring these songs to symphony orchestras all over the world.”
