Chino and Nacho reunite
Chino y Nacho (formerly Chino y Nacho) will reunite on July 11th at the 2024 Heat Latin Music Awards (commonly known as Premios Heat) in the Dominican Republic on HTV network and LosHeat.TV app. This will be the first time since the 2021 Premios Juventud awards show that this famous Venezuelan duo, known for hits such as “NiƱa Bonita,” “Tu Angelito” and “Me Voy Enamorando,” will reunite on stage. Prior to that, they released their 2021 album “Chino & Nacho is Back,” which featured the singles “Antivirus” and “Raro,” released in the midst of a global pandemic. “Always in our hearts and on our playlists, this iconic duo will be part of the amazing guests of the #HeatAwards #10Anniversary, performing with unforgettable hits and big surprises,” reads a post on their official Instagram.
Danny Ocean performs at the Kennedy Center
Danny Ocean teamed up with the Kennedy Center and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to celebrate the courage, resilience and creativity of refugees on World Refugee Day. The event, an evening of free public entertainment, took place at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC on Friday (June 21), where guests enjoyed a screening of the animated film “Elemental” and a performance by the Venezuelan singer-songwriter. The concert was also livestreamed on the Kennedy Center's Facebook and YouTube. Earlier this month, Danny achieved his first No. 1 spot on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart with “Amor.” “This has always been a project that has celebrated love,” he said.

Jenni Rivera Hollywood Star
Jenni Rivera will posthumously receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced this week. “Jenni's star represents not only her incredible achievements as an artist, but also her tenacity, courage and unwavering spirit that continues to inspire fans around the world,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement. Rivera, known as “La Diva de la Bando,” will be honored with the 2,783rd star on June 27, which will be installed in front of Capitol Records on Vine Street. Mexican pop star Gloria Trevi will speak at the ceremony, and Rivera's five children, Jackie, Johnny, Chiquis, Jenica and Michael, will accept the star on her behalf.
Latino Power at Carnegie Hall
Ivy Queen, Grupo Niche and Monsieur Perrine have been added to New York's Nuestros Sonidos concert series, which will take place this fall at Carnegie Hall. Marking each artist's debut at the prestigious Manhattan venue, the festival's lineup also includes previously announced acts Natalia Lafourcade, Sima Funk, Gustavo Dudamel and Quetzal. Celebrating “the vibrant sounds, pioneering rhythms, diverse traditions and profound influence of Latino culture in the United States,” according to a press release, Nuestros Sonidos at Carnegie Hall will kick off with an Opening Night Gala featuring Gustavo Dudamel on October 8 and conclude with Sima Funk and La Tribe on May 22, 2025.
