Celine Dion “can't wait” to get back on stage.
The 56-year-old star revealed in 2022 that he'd been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a progressive neurological disorder that affects the muscles, but Celine is currently busy preparing for her new show in Las Vegas.
She told the BBC: “Since I've come back we've been working hard to put this show together.”
Celine hasn't performed live for a long time, but she's excited to make her long-awaited comeback.
The “Because You Loved Me” hitmaker said: “I'm gonna be on stage, I don't know the exact time but trust me, I'm gonna yell it out loud.”
“I can't wait.”
Celine will live with stiff person syndrome for the rest of her life, but she is undergoing treatment with the aim of returning to the stage.
“My voice is recovering,” she said. “It's been happening for a while now. As I speak to you, my voice is recovering.”
Celine previously said she wanted to “raise awareness of stiff person syndrome” through her new feature-length documentary.
The award-winning star opened up about her struggles in “I Am: Celine Dion,” which premieres later this month.
She said: “The last few years have been a huge challenge for me – from discovering my illness to living with it, learning how to cope with it and not letting it define me.”
“As I continue on the road to resuming my entertainment career, I realize how much I miss not being able to see my fans.
“During this time away, I wanted to document this part of my life to raise awareness about this little-known disease and help others who have been given the same diagnosis.”
