Zendaya isn't closing the door on returning to music someday.
The Challengers stars hinted that they are open to releasing new music in the future if the timing is right.
“If the moment is right, I like to create things for myself, so if the moment is right, I'll probably put something out a little bit,” Zendaya said on The Jennifer Hudson Show Told. To thunderous applause from the audience, she added: We'll see, but maybe someday. ”
Zendaya released her self-titled album in 2013, which included her song “Replay.” The star has focused on her acting and has kept her passion for music to herself in recent years.
“I love music and it's special to me,” she said. “I don't think being in the music industry has taken away the enjoyment of music, but it's when you combine music and business. Sometimes it just doesn't feel that great.”
Zendaya also recalled taking the stage at last year's Coachella to perform on Labyrinth's set. Although she didn't want to do it at first due to stage fright, she eventually persuaded herself to do it.
“In a way, I thought, 'Hey, I can't hide from this, I can't run away from this forever.' Like you, I think at least once in my life I'd love to be on stage and perform live. “Oh,” Zendaya recalled. “I went to the match, and I remember after the match… I was upset because I wasn't at my best, right? Because I felt like I couldn't hear anything. When I got on stage, the audience… It was so loud all I could hear was the feedback and the audience. I couldn't hear anything.”
Zendaya continued to perform and began to enjoy her time on stage, telling herself to stop “blaming herself” and remembering that the reason she was deaf was “because people were singing along.” .
“And I was like, 'Just be grateful and be happy,'” she said.
