Bill Belichick slams former Patriots player Tom Brady for hilarious appearance during Netflix roast

If Will Ferrell wowing everyone with his role as Ron Burgundy on “The Roast of Tom Brady” wasn't enough, the man he introduced after the set set the Los Angeles Forum on fire.

Bill Belichick, the legendary head coach of the New England Patriots who won six Super Bowls with Brady, took the stage to thunderous cheers and a standing ovation.

Belichick was definitely ready to get his quarterback, and many of the other former players on stage with him, into a frenzy. First, he burned himself.

“I'm honored to be joining you tonight on Netflix's 'Roast of Tom Brady.' Not to be confused with the 10-part roast of Bill Belichick that airs on Apple TV documentary,” Belichick said. He spoke, referring to the Apple TV documentary “The Dynasty.” The Patriots were under Belichick and Brady.

While Belichick was there to “lighten the mood,” as he sarcastically put it, Brady wasn't the only one who decided to rip on his own stage.

He mocked tight end Rob Gronkowski, using his role as an NFL analyst on Fox as a punchline.

“A lot of people have associated the words 'do your job' with me and telling people to do their jobs,” Belichick said. “Gronk, I was watching you on 'Fox NFL Sunday' and please, please stop working.

“I loved coaching Gronk. He was a great teammate and a great, great player. A Hall of Famer. …Rob was known for his favorite foods: Campbell's Soup, Dunkin' Donuts, and let's not forget… We've signed some sponsorship deals with Tidepod.”

Belichick also took aim at Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss.

“A lot of people don't know this, but I have a really big heart,” Belichick said. “I rescued a dog from a shelter and I rescued Randy from an attacker. Listen, Randy, I'm really sorry you didn't get a ring. Not enough to give you my ring, but I'm really sorry. .”

Former Patriots left tackle Matt Wright and receiver Danny Amendola were also there, but Belichick decided to select them before the grand finale.

“Tom is the greatest of all time. There's no question about that. That's why we're here. Tom's great,” Belichick began.

And the legendary coach pursued the greatest player of all time.

“Believe it or not, there's a lot to say about Tom, but we're running out of time here,” Belichick said. “It looks like your soccer team, Birmingham City, has fallen another notch in the English Football League.

“It's not that easy to run a team, Tom? I have little advice for you as a coach. Stick to American football. You're really good at it.”

Belichick then told Brady a joke about his longtime trainer Alex Guerrero.

“People used to say that Tom and I would butt heads a lot, and in a way that was true. But that wasn't really the case. It was hard to butt heads with Tom. Tom was Alex Guerrero Because it was way further than his butt,” Belichick said to the camera. Pan to Guerrero amidst the buzzing crowd.
