President Biden is not convinced by recent polls that show he faces a tough battle against former President Trump in the November election, and many of his supporters are not convinced.

According to Axios, some Democrats believe Mr. Biden is “in denial” about the difficult stance and is not taking his position seriously enough.

“The polling data has been wrong all along. How many people — you guys are polling on CNN,” Biden told CNN last week. “How many people do I have to call to get one response?”

At a campaign reception event in California on May 10, Mr. Biden similarly claimed that the media was hiding polls showing him winning over Mr. Trump.

“The press doesn't write about this, but the polls are moving away from Trump and toward us, and the momentum is clearly in our favor,” Biden said.
