While Funk Generation narrowly missed out on the top spot in Billboard's weekly new Latin music poll, Anitta's new album takes the lead in this week's new song poll, which features artists from a variety of music genres.

Music fans voted in a survey published by Billboard on Friday (April 26) to choose Anitta's Funk Generation as their favorite new record of the past week.

Anitta's new set received over 50% of the votes in this poll, securing a notable lead over new releases from Normani and Gunna, Tems, PARTYNEXTDOOR and more.

The veteran Brazilian star turns up the funk on his sixth studio album, singing in Spanish, Portuguese and English. This collection includes singles such as “Funk Rave'' and “Joga Pra Lua,'' and “Ahi'' features guest vocals from Sam Smith.

Anitta is planning a tour supporting Funk Generation, the Vail Funk Experience Tour. The tour is a global journey that includes the singer's first North American tour, including stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and New York. Please check Anitta's official website for the latest tour information.

Following Funk Generation in this week's poll was the team-up of Normani and Gunna with 1:59 and 23% of the vote. This song will be included in her long-awaited album “Dopamine'', which will be released on June 14th.
