Amazon Music releases new AI playlist generator, Maestro, in beta

Today, Amazon Music announced a new feature that uses AI technology to make it easy and fun to create the playlists you want, when you want them. Introducing Maestro: The AI playlist generator can create any playlist you can think of, even the impossible. This feature is rolling out in beta to a small number of U.S. customers on all Amazon Music tiers.

All you need to get started is an impromptu idea. You can choose something short (or long), use emojis, emotions, activities, sounds, or choose one of the suggested prompts. Want to listen to songs like 🤖? Maestro has you. Within seconds, you'll be impressed by the way emojis are used to remind you of the perfect song, and you'll have your own playlist of electronic, robotic tracks brought to life. Now all you have to do is listen to what you've created, save it, and share it with your friends for listening. You can also create and share your own friends.

Here are some of our current favorite Maestro prompts.

As you play around, keep in mind that the technology behind Maestro is new and may not always work the first time. We've also implemented a system to proactively block offensive language and inappropriate prompts. We will apply your feedback and continue to make Maestro the best and safest experience for everyone.

Maestro is available in beta to select Free, Prime, and Unlimited Amazon Music customers in the U.S. on its iOS and Android mobile apps. Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can listen to playlists now and save them for later, and Prime members and ad-supported customers can listen to a 30-second preview of a playlist before saving. can do. We plan to expand our access to more customers in the future.
