Win Starks delighted with Celine Dion's endorsement – Music News

Win Starks admits it's a “dream come true” to have his song featured in the Celine Dion documentary.

The former America's Got Talent candidate has always looked up to her, so he “screamed” when he found out the “iconic” singer had been listening to his song “Who I Am” for “inspiration and strength” as she battled with her uptight personality.

He said: “Having 'Who I Am' featured in the Celine Dion documentary, 'I Am Celine Dion', is an honour and a hand-pinching moment for me.”

“I think I screamed when I found out, hahaha.

“I heard she listened to it for inspiration and strength, and that just moved me, because that's what she did for us.”

“Having my song featured in a documentary about such an iconic and incredible artist who has inspired me and so many others is a dream come true and recognition for all the hard work and passion that went into making it. It feels incredible and surreal.”

Wynn performed the song on America's Got Talent in 2022 in memory of his twin brother Kane, who died in 2020, and felt it marked a “turning point” in his career.

He said: “I wrote 'Who I Am' around the time I moved to Nashville and it's a personal reflection of the experiences that have shaped me as the artist and person I am today.”

“This is a story about my own journey of self-discovery, resilience and embracing my true self.

“Singing 'Who I Am' on America's Got Talent was an incredibly emotional moment for me. I dedicated this performance to my twin brother, Kane Starks.”

“It was one of his favorite songs and a way to honor his memory and share a piece of my heart with the world.”

“That performance was a turning point in my career. It really showed me the power of music and how it connects us all.”
