Where did they get the list of Country Music Olympic competitions?
The list of competitions for the Country Music Olympics was submitted by Taste of Country readers. Fans on our Facebook page shared their ideas for the perfect country-themed competitions after we asked, “If country music had its own Olympics, what competitions would they have?”
Many of the answers were musical, like holding a note the longest or singing the lowest baritone. Some even suggested yodeling. Others opted for more physical competitions like hay bale tossing. And, of course, there were some country-ish options, like cow tipping, lawnmower races, and the unique competition for longest burp.
