Taylor Swift made a mistake while performing a secret song at her “Eras” show in Munich on Saturday (July 27, 2024).
The 34-year-old singer performed a neat mix of The Tortured Poets Department songs “Fresh Out the Slammer” and 1989's “You Are in Love” on guitar during her first show at Germany's Olympiastadion, but when she walked to the piano to perform the second medley, she got the first note wrong and her blunder was immediately brought to attention.
“Sometimes you just don't get the right notes, you know?” she said with a laugh in the footage shared by X.
She then followed with a second medley, fusing “Ivy” from Evermore with “Call It What You Want” from Reputation.
This isn't the first time Taylor has had issues with the show.
Earlier this month, the piano broke during a performance in Milan, Italy.
“It finally broke,” she joked, as the crew came onstage to fix the instrument.
During a performance in Hamburg earlier this week, the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker reflected on how she had to do her own hair, makeup and styling for the cover shoot for her album “Folklore” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She told fans: “I started making 'Folklore' two days after the pandemic started.”
“As creators, it was a big challenge for us, but also very rewarding.
“Then it's time to take pictures for the album. I can't ask for hair and makeup or a costume. I have to do it myself.”
“So I called a friend of mine who has woods behind her house and I said, ‘Can I take photos in your woods?’ And she said, ‘Sure.’”
“I ordered all my nightgowns online and brought them in, and I did my own hair and makeup. I was like, 'Should I put braids in them? I don't know.'
