A man was shot and killed by police on Tuesday near Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum, where the Republican National Convention is being held, Fox News confirmed.
The shooting happened near 13th Avenue and West Vliet Street, about two miles from Fiserv Forum.
The Milwaukee Police Association confirmed to Fox News that an “outside law enforcement agency” was involved in the shooting.

A Columbus police official told Fox News that five officers from the department opened fire, leaving one dead.
A witness told Fox News that the man who was shot lived in a nearby homeless camp, adding that the man was brandishing a knife when he was shot.

Several upset residents, including some who identified themselves as friends and family, argued with police and demanded answers about the shooting.
Some residents were outraged when they learned that the man had been shot by an outside police officer, and some denounced the Republican National Committee for bringing outside police into their town.

A police source told Fox News that no officers were shot, and it is unclear at this time what caused the shooting.
