Today, GRAMMY®-nominated singer, songwriter, actor, producer and global superstar Joe Jonas announced that he will release his new full-length solo album, Music For People Who Believe In Love, on October 18th via Republic Records.
He will release his latest single, “Work It Out,” on Friday, July 19th, gearing up for the arrival of his highly anticipated album.
Speaking about the album, Joe said: “I'm excited to share with you my new solo album, Music For People Who Believe In Love. The album is a celebration of gratitude, hope and love. The songs reflect on my life from a bird's eye view while acknowledging the many blessings that surround me.”
I hope that if we take a moment to breathe, pause, and think positively, we can embrace this moment and ultimately find peace. It's okay to cry and mourn your loss; it's part of the process of taking care of yourself and ultimately being able to be there for those you care about.
This album talks about being a father, being a friend to myself and others, and the happiness I find in doing what I love for a living. I feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to travel the world and connect with people through music, as well as working with some of the most talented musicians, songwriters and producers on this project.
A director I once worked with would place a handwritten note above the camera while we were filming: “What do you want the audience to feel?” This question still resonates with me every time I step on stage and write new music. The ability to perform, connect deeply with an audience, and evoke positive emotions and even healing is a gift I cherish.
This album is a reflection and celebration of life, and I hope it brings you as much joy as I did making it. I hope you enjoy it.
With love and gratitude
Joe
