Homegrown music festival to take place Saturday, supporting community projects


The event will feature 11 musicians, food trucks, beer, wine and more.

(Lawrenceburg, IN) – The first annual Homegrown Music Festival will be held on Saturday, July 20th at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds.

The event will run from noon until 10pm and will feature live music, food and drink, and support a great cause.

Eleven musicians will perform throughout the day, starting with Rachel Holt at midday followed by Tyler Brindley, Keith Sweeney Band, Lacey Lane Band, Terry Hearn, Channel Cats, Michael T and Jenny Klemm, Union 22, Stoned Blue and headliner Austin Tyler Lee Band.

Parkside Market, Twister Tater, LA Sweets and Heaven in Your Mouth BBQ will have food trucks on-site, and Holtkamp Winery will be serving wines, as well as beer and soda.

Admission is $25 (with your bracelet you can come and go as you please), and all attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item to support Feeding Those In Need.

Homegrown Music Festival is presented by Community Project, with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit's mission to identify and raise awareness of the current and ongoing needs of southeastern Indiana residents.

Every year, our community projects include Meals for the Needy, Christmas with Friends, Community Blessing Boxes and No Child Left Behind.
