Gigi Hadid gave Taylor Swift a custom-designed friendship ring
The model chose London-based designer CeCe Jewelry to create the custom piece, which pays homage to Taylor's latest album, her boyfriend Travis Kelcy and her beloved cat, Benjamin Button.
“It was such an honor to create something so special for Taylor Swift!!!!!!,” a Cece Jewellery team member wrote on Instagram.
“A gift from a close friend, it features her famous cat, Benjamin Button, flanked by shiny pearl borders with flaming hearts. Her favorite jersey number, 13, is featured on one side, and Travis Kelce's number, 87, on the other.”
The post included several close-up photos of Taylor's thick, signet-style ring, painted with an enamel depiction of her cat — the same pet Taylor, 34, wore around her shoulder in her 2023 Time magazine Person of the Year cover photo.
Each side of the ring incorporates a flaming heart with the numbers 87 and 13, respectively, which represent the 34-year-old Travis's Kansas City Chiefs football jersey number and Swift's lucky numbers.
The inside of the band features the letters “TTPD” inscribed on it, paying tribute to Taylor's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
“Perfect thank you,” Gigi, 29, commented on the post, saying her friendship with Taylor dates back to at least 2014, when they were photographed together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
