Tricked: A parody social media account calling itself “Gaza's Chief Rabbi” claimed the latest victim of the progressive “Squad,” tricking Rep. Cori Bush's (D-Mo.) team into bragging about a possible event with a fake rabbi. Bush's reelection campaign was exploring the possibility of using a parody X-account called “Rabbi Linda Goldstein” to raise funds, which posts anti-Israel rhetoric aimed at tricking progressives.
'Smoke and mirrors': Critics have slammed the task force Harvard University created in response to a set of recommendations it released in late June in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war. Experts have slammed the Harvard task force's preliminary findings, saying it has created a “smoke and mirrors” and “DEI-obsessed” approach to combating the rise in anti-Semitism that is plaguing colleges and universities across the country.
Quote of the week: “They are showing exactly what human emotion should be in response to Gaza…. Some of the protesters hold views that I absolutely reject, so I'm not going to fully endorse what they're saying, but we have to get past it. I understand the emotion behind it,” Vice President Kamala Harris said in defense of anti-Israel agitators on college campuses.
