The 5 biggest moments from Trump's Republican National Convention speech

In his acceptance speech on Thursday, Trump spoke solemnly about the assassination attempt on him in Pennsylvania and paid tribute to supporter Cory Comperatore, who was killed in the shooting.

While Trump called for unity in his speech, he also turned sharply critical of the state of the country under President Joe Biden, whose own candidacy is also in jeopardy as leading Democrats seek to replace Trump.

“It's time for change. We can't have this administration for another four years,” Trump said, pointing to inflation, the crisis on the southern border with Mexico and the ongoing wars in Ukraine and Gaza.
