Britney Spears has defended her dancing on Instagram after Ozzy Osbourne slammed her style.
On Tuesday, the rock singer said he was “disgusted” by Britney dancing regularly on social media, saying it made him “sad, very, very sad.”
His comments came after his daughter Kelly said she felt “sympathy” for Britney on the family podcast, “The Osbournes.”
Now Britney has hit back at the family.
“I'm going to do a photo shoot with Kate[Beckinsale]and tell the Osbournes, the most boring family in the history of mankind, to get the hell out!” she wrote in an Instagram post.
The 42-year-old previously wrote that she thinks Kate Beckinsale, 50, is “amazing” because she posts what she wants, rather than the “age-appropriate content” that people expect.
Britney added, “I know what it feels like to be criticized but I think it's important that we support each other and invite each other into a place that helps our souls grow!!”
She followed that post with a video of her dancing.
Britney is known for being outspoken on social media, and she recently posted an update about her love life after splitting with husband Sam Asghari last August. Their divorce was finalized in May of this year.
She admitted that she had to “pull myself together, slow down and reflect on the past year,” adding, “I think I had a false sense of confidence after my divorce!!!”
She continued, “There were so many amazing moments!!! Trust me, I know we are all human and make mistakes!!! I literally have to go back and recalibrate and probably go to therapy a couple more times.”
