Billie Eilish Reads Bedtime Stories for CBeebies – Music News



Billie Eilish will be sitting back in comfort to read us a captivating tale in the next episode of CBeebies Bedtime Story.

The 22-year-old chart-topping star will follow in the footsteps of Tom Hardy, Orlando Bloom and Dolly Parton as he reads the stories on BBC's preschool network CBeebies.

Billy will read from “This Moose Belongs to Me” by author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers and also speak to audiences about the importance and meaning of music and nature to humanity.

“We need to look after beautiful wild creatures like Marcel, but we also need to let them do what they love,” the Happier Than Ever singer said in a statement about the story, which follows a boy named Wilfred who befriends a moose named Marcel.

The special episode will be broadcast on the BBC and will be available to stream across BBC services this week.

The BBC promoted the news on social media, declaring: “Tune in to CBeebies Bedtime Story with Billie Eilish! Billie will be reading 'This Moose Belongs to Me' by Oliver Jeffers. Airs on CBeebies and Player on 19 July at 6.50pm.”

The Oscar, Grammy, Billboard and BRIT Award winner shared a promotional photo for BBC on Instagram, wearing a dark hooded jumper and a patterned green scarf in her hair.

Other major stars taking part in CBeebies, the long-running show which has been on the air since 2003, include Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, Kate Winslet, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans.
