Berkeley

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Jim Lucchese, former CEO of Echo Nest and Sofar Sounds, will become Berklee's fifth president.

Virgin Music Group

Hidden Track Music founder Justin Bumper Reeve has been appointed SVP of Global Sync at Virgin.

Warner Chappell Music

Warner Chappell has appointed Sony Music veteran Tat Tong as vice president of A&R and creative for Asia Pacific, based in its Shanghai office.

Muse Group

Muse has announced three hires: Debbie Dieckelman as CFO (who previously held the same role at Hal Leonard), Sven Ahrens as chief growth officer, a subscriber growth expert at Spotify for more than eight years, and Mohamed “Mo” Chadi as COO, who spent nearly two decades in senior roles at Dell.

PPL PRS

PPL PRS has promoted Greg Aiello, who has been with the team for over five years, from commercial director to MD.

iHeartMedia

Kim Williams, who has been with iHeartMedia for nearly 27 years, has been named area president for Alaska and Hawaii, while Larry “Yako” Calderon Jr. has officially taken on the role of program director for iHeartMedia Miami's Y100. Calderon Jr. will continue in his role as programming strategist and coordinator for “iHeart Latino stations across the U.S.”

BMI

BMI has hired longtime tech executive Tom Kershaw as CTO and Justin Rohde (formerly of Xplor) as its first chief transformation officer.

Bertelsmann

BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld has been appointed to the Bertelsmann board of directors.

Arista Records

Sony Music subsidiary Arista has promoted Nick Petropoulos to EVP of promotions and artist development after three years with the company.

Big Loud

Big Loud has officially promoted Stacey Brice, who joined the company about nine years ago, to vice president of promotions.

Pitchfork

No Bells founder Mano Sundaresan has joined Pitchfork as head of editorial content.

Republic Records

Republic has promoted David Walter to co-head of East Coast A&R and Miles Beard to the same role on the East Coast.

Hive

Renzo Yoon, a longtime senior figure at Hybe and co-head of Hybe's Americas division, which is now led solely by Scooter Braun, is reportedly planning to leave the BTS agency at the end of 2024.

Universal Music UK

Former TaP and Atlantic marketing executive Hannah Nieves has been confirmed as president of Universal Music Recordings, the catalogue division of Universal Music UK.

Splice has hired Kenny Ochoa, Snap's former head of music curation and creative licensing, as its svp of content.
