But Rihanna insisted that fans need not worry.

She laughs: “Everybody rebelled against that retired line. They were like, 'There's no more albums coming out.' Nobody read the other line. They were like, 'This is my best dressed up look.'”

Last week, the star's 2012 single “Diamonds” was certified diamond by the RIAA, and the song still means a lot to her.

She said: “Wow, I remember where we were from the beginning. It was London and I remember playing 'Diamonds' on tour.”

“When I perform with all the lights on, everyone takes out their phone at that moment, and their phone goes to my grandma. I literally think of her every time I perform this.”

He joked that he “threw the ball to her” after seeing her perform at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eraser tour in July 2023. “If you're familiar with Taylor Swift's concerts, they have these friendship bracelets, and I got a bunch of them there, and I wanted to give Taylor Swift a bracelet with my number on it,” he said on the podcast.

Hunter Biden convicted in Delaware trial

The eldest son, Hunter Biden, was convicted of all charges in a landmark criminal case that focused on a 2018 firearms purchase.

Hunter Biden faced a trial this month that lasted more than a week and included emotional testimony from family members, including his daughter Naomi Biden, his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle and his sister-in-law and girlfriend Hallie Biden.

Prosecutors sought to prove that Hunter Biden lied in October 2018 on a federal firearms form, known as ATF Form 4473, by checking a box that said “no” when asked if he was an unlawful gun user or addicted to controlled substances. Hunter Biden bought the gun at a store in Wilmington called Star Quest Shooters & Survival Supply.

Hunter Biden was charged with making a false statement in connection with a firearm purchase, making a false statement regarding information required to be kept by federally licensed gun dealers, and possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user or addict of a controlled substance.

He pleaded not guilty in the case.

Hunter Biden has a history of substance abuse, best documented in his 2021 memoir, “Beautiful Things,” which recounts anecdotes from his drug dealing past, including how Hunter Biden once needed to smoke crack cocaine every 20 minutes, how his addiction was so severe that he referred to himself as “crack daddy” to his drug dealers, and how a Washington, D.C. crack dealer nicknamed Biden “Bicycles.”

The defense team, led by attorney Abe Lowell, did not dispute Hunter Biden's long history of drug abuse, including alcoholism, and instead argued that Hunter Biden did not consider himself a drug addict on the day he bought the Cobra Colt 38, citing an undercover investigation into his eldest son's rehab prior to the purchase in October 2018.

LANY postpones Australian tour after serious accident | The Music

American pop rock band LANY have postponed their Australian tour, which was due to begin next week, after lead singer and guitarist Paul Klein was involved in a serious accident.

In a statement, the band revealed that they are already considering new show dates in Australia and New Zealand, and urged fans to hold on to their tickets until more details are known. Once new dates are announced, fans who cannot attend will be able to receive a refund at their original point of purchase.

As for the reason for the postponement, Klein said he was hit by a car while riding his Vespa last week and was taken to hospital on a stretcher in an ambulance, and now needs time to focus on his recovery.

Stating that he feels lucky to be alive, the performer wrote:

Hello everyone. Last Thursday night I was riding home from the gym on my Vespa when I was hit by a car. I don't remember anything after the crash. I woke up in an ambulance on a stretcher. “All my vital signs are good, but it is still difficult for me to walk and move around. However, I am gradually getting better and will be 100% recovered soon. Doctors have advised me to reschedule my upcoming shows in Australia and New Zealand to speed up my recovery.”

One of the questions Rihanna gets asked repeatedly is when she'll release a new album.

The singer joked that she continues to work on new music, and she made it clear that she is not retiring, despite what her T-shirt says.

“People rebelled against the word retirement,” Rihanna said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, explaining a photo of her wearing a T-shirt with the phrase “I'm Retired” emblazoned on it.

She continued, “They were like, 'There's no more albums coming out.' Nobody read the other parts. It was like, 'This is my best dressed thing.'

Rihanna also said she is ready to get back into the studio while rediscovering music.

“I think for me, music is discovery,” she said. “I'm rediscovering a lot of things. I've been working on an album for a long time, so I've put all that aside and I'm ready to get back in the studio. Here we go. Hold on!”

Rihanna has been teasing the release of a new album for years, even going so far as to say in 2023 that she wanted to release it that year and had recorded new music. While she said she'll be “starting over” with R9, she said, “I don't want to ignore the songs that I have, so I want to really go back and listen to them with new ears, with new perspectives, and see what holds true and what I'm still passionate about.”

The singer's last studio album was 2016's Anti. She has released several singles since then, including “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

In a separate interview, Rihanna reiterated that she was “not retired,” telling Extra magazine, “I'm not retired. I just loved that dress. I got it as a gift and I loved it…”

Kentucky State Police have made five arrests in connection with the disappearance of an 8-month-old baby girl who has been missing since at least early May.

The boy, identified as Mya Tucker Ladd of Reynolds Station, Ohio, was reported missing by Kentucky State Police on Thursday. Police executed a search warrant and searched the family's home but did not find the boy. Reynolds Station is about 90 miles southwest of Louisville.

The girl's mother, Tesla Tucker, 29, and father, Cage C. Ladd, 30, were arrested Wednesday at a motel in Owensboro, about 25 miles west of Reynolds Station, with no information on the baby's whereabouts and in possession of a large amount of drugs, including fentanyl, a police spokesperson told Fox News Digital. Owensboro is about 25 miles west of Reynolds Station.

“[We] “We have attempted to interview the parents, but they have not been very cooperative with our investigation,” Officer Corey King of the Kentucky State Police told Fox News Digital on Friday.

Police subsequently arrested Ricky Smith, believed to be the missing girl's grandfather. Smith had been living with the couple at their home on Deanfield Church Road. Police said Smith was using the home as a home base for drug trafficking, and various drugs were found during a search. Smith has been charged with drug offences, child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Mya's grandmother, Billie J. Smith, 49, was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree domestic violence after police discovered she had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Davis County from October 2023, according to WFIE.

Tesla Tucker, Cage Ladd and Ricky Smith appeared in Ohio County District Court on Monday to enter arraignments.

Police said the girl had not been seen by other family members for several weeks. Kentucky State Police said the girl, who has brown hair and green eyes, was last found in the custody of her parents.

Kentucky State Police said they have deployed cadaver dog teams to search wooded areas along Hardin Lane in Ohio County and near a church, WEVV reported.

Child Protective Services had been searching for the baby, but when they were unable to locate him they called police, who found him in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine at a motel, sparking a series of arrests that included the arrest of the baby's parents.

Officers arrested the parents and charged them with drug trafficking and possession, abandonment of a minor and child abuse.

According to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, Ladd, the girl's father, was convicted in March of two drug-related offenses, including possession of methamphetamine, and was on probation for a year.

Trump closing in on Biden in Democratic-leaning states: poll

A Republican has not won Minnesota in a presidential election since President Richard Nixon's landslide reelection in 1972, more than half a century ago.

But a new Minnesota poll suggests a rematch in the 2024 election would be a tight contest between President Biden and former President Trump.

According to a Star Tribune/MPR News/KARE11 poll conducted June 3-5, the president's approval rating among Minnesota voters is 45%, while Trump's approval rating is 41%.

The survey found that Democratic-turned-independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had an approval rating of 6 percent, while 2 percent would support “someone else” if the election were held today.

In the 2016 election, Trump narrowly lost Minnesota to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton by 1.5 percentage points, but four years later, Biden won the state by 7 points, defeating Trump to win the White House.

“We're going to win this state,” Trump predicted last month in a speech headlined by a fundraising dinner for state Republican Party leader Lincoln Reagan in St. Paul, Minnesota's capital.

The poll showed a large gap in enthusiasm, with 63% of Trump supporters saying they were “very enthusiastic” about voting for his candidate, compared with 31% of voters who support the president.

The poll surveyed 800 Minnesota voters and had an overall sampling margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.

Trump's move around the blue bastion is using political ATMs to get results

Seven key battleground states that decided the 2020 election — Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin (narrowly won by Biden) and North Carolina (narrowly won by Trump) — are likely to be contested again in a 2024 rematch, but both sides see opportunities to widen their reach.

At a closed-door Republican National Committee gathering of big-name donors at a resort in Palm Beach, Florida this spring, Trump campaign senior advisers Suzie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, along with veteran pollster Tony Fabrizio, highlighted internal polling results suggesting “Minnesota and Virginia are both clearly swing states.”

“In both states, Donald Trump is in a position to flip key electoral votes in his favor,” the poll provided to Fox News emphasized.

And both states have sizable rural white voters without college degrees who disproportionately supported the former president.

The Biden campaign has pushed back against the idea that either Minnesota or Virginia could be contested.

Dan Kanninen, the Biden campaign's battleground states manager, told reporters last month that “we're not taking any state or any vote for granted,” but added that “we're not looking at polls, head-to-head numbers, six or seven months out from a general election any more than weather forecasts are six or seven months out.”

Kanninen stressed that the campaign has sent field teams to both states to engage with voters.

Latest Fox News Biden-Trump Poll Results in Virginia

“We feel strongly that the Biden-Harris coalition in Minnesota and Virginia, which was strong in the midterm and off-year elections, will continue to be strong in the fall of 2024,” he added.

Biden campaign spokeswoman Lauren Hitt also noted that the president currently has a fundraising lead in key battlegrounds and an advantage in ground-up campaigning, arguing that “the Trump campaign has almost no campaign operations or infrastructure, so they have no choice but to leak a memo saying, 'We are winning in the polls that we spend money on.'”

But the latest Fox News poll in Virginia showed Biden and Trump tied in the state.

The survey, conducted June 1-4, showed the Democratic president and his Republican predecessor going head-to-head, each with 48% approval.

In the multi-candidate race, Biden has 42% of the vote, Trump has 41%, Democrat-turned-independent Kennedy has 9%, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein and independent Cornel West have 2% each.

It's the first time in 20 years that a Republican has won Virginia in an election for the White House.

You have to go back to President George W. Bush, who won the Commonwealth in his 2004 reelection.

“Let's start by remembering back in 2020 when Joe Biden won Virginia by 10 points. The fact that we're even having this discussion is a huge turning point,” Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin said in an interview with Fox News Digital while attending the Republican Governors Association (RGA) conference in New Orleans last week.

“We're here in June and there's still a lot going on, but Virginia could be in and that's very exciting,” Youngkin emphasized.
