Nicki Minaj's Manchester show on Saturday night was cancelled after she was detained by police in Amsterdam earlier that morning.
The rapper was due to perform his Pink Friday 2 live show at Co-Op Live as part of his ongoing UK and European tour, but the incident in the Netherlands has meant he is unable to make the performance.
Minaj live-streamed her arrest after being detained by Dutch police on suspicion of drug possession.
According to NME, Dutch National Police confirmed that she had been arrested and has since been released.
Doors at Manchester's Co-Op Live were scheduled to open at 7pm as scheduled, with Minaj due to take to the stage an hour later.
However, as fans continued to wait, around 9:30 p.m., it was finally announced that Minaj would not be performing.
“Nicki Minaj's show at Co-Op Live in Manchester on Saturday May 25th has been postponed,” the venue said in an official update.
“Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performance, which will be announced as soon as possible.”
“Despite Nicki's best efforts to explore all possibilities to make tonight's show possible, today's events have made this impossible. We are deeply disappointed at the inconvenience this has caused.”
In an Instagram Live post earlier that day, Minaj filmed a group of Dutch police officers arresting her and demanding that she get into a police vehicle so they could take her to the police station.
Minaj also posted a series of tweets that appeared to show her luggage being thoroughly inspected at the airport.
“They have tried everything to stop this tour,” she wrote in one post.
Minaj's tour celebrates her long-awaited album, “Pink Friday 2,” which was released in December.
