Becky Hills wants more women to headline Ibiza – Music News

Becky Hill has called for more women to headline Ibiza.

The BRIT Award-winning artist insisted that men still dominate the scene and called for the dance capital of the world to diversify its lineups and even billboards.

She told Music Week magazine: “You land. [at the airport] And only the man's face can be seen on the signboard.

“That's when I realized how far we had to go music-wise.

“At superclubs like Hi and Amnesia, there is no situation where women have headline residencies.”

The 30-year-old singer may have been hosting her own parties in Ibiza for the past few years, but she pointed out there's still work to be done.

He added: “I won't stop until I rub shoulders with Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Tiesto in Ushuaia, Ibiza.”

“This is a goal I've had for the past few years.”

Becky is scheduled to release her new album “Believe Me Now?''. This month, her love of dance and music plays a major role, with “some great points coming back” in her collection.

She said, “It's not that I don't like my music.

“But I'm immersed in dance culture, and I wanted to create a new body of work that fits a little more into the dance world, and not in any way isolate commercials.

“The new album is still great pop songs, but they have more weight and are combined with purer production.”

She has collaborated with artists such as Chase and Status and Self-Esteem on this album, and having already enjoyed great success in the UK, she hopes this album will further her journey towards world domination. I'm looking forward to it.

She said: “I feel like I’ve broken through the UK, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.

“It took 12 years, but now I feel like I'm in another part of the world.”
