Three members of the popular gospel music quartet The Nelons have been killed in a plane crash in Wyoming, according to multiple reports.
Fox News reported that the group's co-founders, Kelly Nelon Clark, her husband Jason Clark, and their daughter Amber Nelon Kister were among the seven killed in Friday's crash. A fourth member of the group, Autumn Nelon Streetman, announced the deaths in a statement, according to the site.
“I would like to thank you for the prayers that have been offered to me, my husband, Jamie, and our soon-to-be son, as well as Jason's parents, Dan and Linda Clark,” she said in a statement. “Thank you all for your continued prayers, love and support as we get through the days ahead.”
Nelon Streetman said Amber's husband, Nathan Kistler, her assistant, Melody Hodges, and pilot Larry Haney and his wife, Melissa, also died in the crash, according to FOX.
FOX reported there were no survivors.
The Nelsons are members of the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame. They were inducted in 2016, according to FOX, and are 10 GMA Dove Award winners, including multiple awards for Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
According to the site, the Nelns were on their way to Alaska to take part in the Geyser homecoming cruise when the accident occurred. Neln Streetman and her husband Jamie were traveling separately and only found out about the accident after they arrived in Seattle, according to FOX.
According to FOX, the plane was a Pilatus PC-12/47E, a single-engine turboprop aircraft.
