Joe Jonas is returning to his solo music career.
The Jonas Brothers star, 34, took to Instagram on Wednesday (July 10) to reveal that his new single, “Work It Out,” will be released on July 19. “I'm so excited and emotional as I prepare to release new music,” he wrote in the post, with a beautiful mountain and lake view in the background. “I'm honored and grateful to have collaborated with some of my favorite musicians and creators. I hope you all feel as happy and at peace when you listen to these songs as I do.”
In March, Joe teased the upcoming release of solo music when he posted a video captioned, “If only I wasn't in the studio working on something new I'd be embodying this trend.” The next day, he responded to a fan's comment challenging him to share what he was working on with a 13-second video of his collaborators playing guitars in a recording studio.

Though Joe has been part of several musical collectives between the Jonas Brothers and DNCE, it's been 13 years since he released his only solo album, 2011's Fast Life. The Chris Brown-penned “See No More” peaked at No. 92 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the LP reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200. Jonas has since bounced back and forth between Jonas Brothers and DNCE releases, while younger brother Nick Jonas enjoyed a more consistent solo career until the brothers reunited in 2019.
