Gene Gallagher's band Villanelle are set to embark on their first ever UK tour.
Liam Gallagher's 22-year-old son (with ex-wife Nicole Appleton of All Saints fame) and his bandmates will kick off a small tour at Stereo in Glasgow on November 19th.
The tour will then visit Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Nottingham before finishing in Oslo, London on November 28th.
Tickets will go on sale Friday (21.06.24) at 9am.
The group, consisting of Ben Taylor (guitar), Jacques Schiavo (bass) and Andrew Richmond (drums), only formed earlier this year but have already opened for Liam Gallagher on the 30th anniversary tour of his solo album Definitely Maybe and played to multiple audiences at London's O2 Arena.
The Britpop legend was so impressed by the band's early shows, including at London rock 'n' roll pub The Marquis, that he invited Gene and Co. on tour.
Villanelle has been busy writing music and will be announcing news of her first release soon.
Lennon Gallagher (24), the son of former Oasis rock band member Liam and whose mother is actress Patsy Kensit, also leads a band called Automation.
The 'Stand By Me' hitmaker previously had some wise words for his kids, but admitted he lets the pair do things their own way.
The 51-year-old star also insisted he would not be involved if the pair became estranged, as his relationship with his estranged brother and former bandmate Noel Gallagher, 57, has deteriorated.
When asked by a Twitter follower if he had any advice for Lennon, he replied: “Have fun, be unrealistic, but be careful not to be outrageous.”
Another user said: “Don't let Lennon leave Gene. I don't want the same story,” to which the “Wall of Glass” hitmaker replied: “It's nothing to do with me. They're both doing what they want and that's good enough for me.”
