Katy Perry will make her long-awaited comeback next month with new single “Woman's World.”
The pop star announced that the single will be released on July 11th, with the video coming out on July 12th.
Katy shared a preview of the track on her Instagram, lip-syncing to the powerful tune while sporting a bold white bikini.
The lyrics read, “Sexy and confident. So intelligent. She's heaven sent. So kind. So strong.”
It's the “I Kissed a Girl” hitmaker's first song since working with 34-year-old country star Thomas Rhett on his 2022 album, “Where We Start.”
News of the release comes after Katy recently revealed that she's teamed up with Congolese-Canadian singer Le Cara for one of her “biggest unreleased hits yet.”
The 39-year-old singer performed the song during an “American Idol” event in April.
She put her arm around Lou's shoulders and said, “She helped me write one of my biggest hits that hasn't been released yet, but it's coming out soon.”
The 28-year-old co-writer, who appeared on Ratt's song “Lotary” last year, captioned the Instagram video, “I was never expecting this. Thank you @katyperry for letting me be a part of what's to come. I can't wait for the world to hear it.”
Katy has already teased that the new album will be “pure joy and fun.”
The “Firework” singer, who has three-year-old daughter Daisy with fiancĂ© Orlando Bloom, said the follow-up to 2020's “Smile” was inspired by feeling “really happy and fulfilled,” and that she doesn't mind other artists dismissing it as “boring.”
“I just haven't made a record from a place where I feel truly happy and fulfilled and full of love yet,” she told Access Hollywood.
“Sometimes artists say, 'Oh, that's boring, I want to make music from a tougher place,' but it's actually very upbeat and fun. It's pure joy, fun, playfulness, celebration, party-like.”
