Moon Music will be released on October 4th and is produced by Max Martin. The album announcement comes after the band revealed their new single “Feels Like Im Falling In Love” last week, which will be released on Friday (June 21st).
The album may be Coldplay's final one, with singer Chris Martin previously saying the band will stop making music in 2025.
“Well, I can say that our last proper album will be released in 2025 and then I think it'll just be touring after that,” Martin said in an interview with Jo Whiley in 2021. “We might do some collaborative stuff, but that's when the Coldplay catalogue will be over, so to speak.”

Moon Music will be pressed on the world's first 140-gram Eco Records LP, made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, which is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 85 percent compared to standard vinyl production.
Prior to this, the band recently shared an update on their eco-friendly world tour, revealing that they have reduced their emissions by a whopping 59 percent.
Coldplay performed “Feels Like Im Falling In Love” live for the first time at Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary last night (June 16th). This follows their debut performance of new song “All My Love” at the end of their Athens show.
The band's Music of the Spheres tour will run until 2024, and will headline Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage later this month.
