Remi Wolf releases new single “Motorcycle” and music video

The song is the fourth single from her upcoming album, Big Ideas.

Remi Wolf released his latest single, “Motorcycle,” on Friday, along with a music video that features cameos from singer and actress Victoria Justice and fellow Northern California artist Dora Jah.

“Motorcycle” is the fourth track Wolf has shared ahead of her upcoming third album, Big Ideas, and follows “Cinderella,” “Toro,” and “Alone in Miami.” The track is slow and vibrating, featuring Remi's vocals, drums, and a beachy guitar line. She co-wrote the song with Kenny Beats, Leon Michels, and the Dap-Kings. In it, Wolf sings about her love for motorcycles and living the simple life with her partner.

“The lyrics cut deep into the internal dichotomy that I experience so often in my life,” Wolf said in a statement about the new song. “One side of me has always wanted to slow down, settle down, fall in love, be normal, have kids, etc., while the other, very assertive part wants to be restless, stubborn and free. This song is essentially a fantasy about me living in a reality where both sides of me can exist simultaneously.”

Wolf spends much of the video inside the house, and is seen hanging out poolside with Justice and Jah, tanning, dancing and talking on an old landline phone.

Big Ideas will be released on July 12th, and she will support the album with a 20-date headlining tour that kicks off in Santa Barbara in September and wraps in Los Angeles in October.
