“Following the success of Gulf Coast Jam [held May 30-June 2] “Last weekend in Panama City Beach we realized the weekend after Memorial Day would be a better time to host the festival,” Kickoff Jam producers said in a post on the festival's Instagram page. “As such, we have decided to cancel Kickoff Jam and offer refunds.”

The three-day festival was scheduled to be hosted by media personality Storm Warren. Friday's lineup was scheduled to feature eight-time Grammy Award winner Underwood, Need2Breathe, Lauren Alaina, Restless Road, Carter Faith, and Kaylee Green. Saturday night's lineup, led by Country Music Hall of Fame member Brooks, was also scheduled to feature Randy Houser, Oak Ridge Boys, Rhett Akins, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Allie Colleen. Sunday night's lineup was scheduled to feature two-time Grammy Award winner Alabama, with a special appearance by Randy Travis, and opening acts Jamey Johnson, Tyler Farr, Gavin Adcock, Pam Tillis, and Katie Offerman.

When the festival was announced in mid-April, festival executive producer Lendy Loverady said in a statement, “I've been doing this for 40 years and this is definitely the biggest show yet! We're excited to celebrate 50 years of country music in Panama City Beach!”

Refunds have been issued for tickets already purchased, and details can be found at kickoffjampcb.com.
