Carrie Underwood's Myrtle Beach show canceled due to 'heavy rain' after singer apparently slipped on stage

Carrie Underwood put on a great performance in front of a South Carolina crowd on Sunday despite inclement weather, but it ended in what seemed like a near disaster.

A video posted to TikTok shows the 41-year-old singer walking off stage and down a flight of stairs after performing at the Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach when she appears to lose her balance and fall. Underwood was wearing high-heeled boots.

The apparent fall came just after Underwood had performed in torrential rain.

According to social media users, Underwood had just finished performing Guns N' Roses' “Welcome To The Jungle” when heavy rain began to fall.

But for those loyal fans who didn't flee the rain, the show went on, and Underwood was still scheduled to play one more song.
