Adele was forced to stock up on her favourite underwear brands before they disappeared from store shelves.
The “Rolling in the Deep” actress says she “trusts” the support offered by shapewear manufacturer Spanx.
But she was saddened to learn that some of her favorite styles designed by the brand will soon be discontinued.
MailOnline quoted Adele as telling the audience at a show in Las Vegas over the weekend: “Spanx. I trust them. I've been wearing them since I was like 16, so I trust them. Like half my life. I trust them with my life. My favourite Spanx are full body Spanx.”
“I know it's not sexy, but I want to feel safe in any dress I wear and know that it will contain all the bulges and bumps that I love.”
She continued, “Well, they decided to discontinue my favorite brand, Spanx, so everyone I know is scooping up whatever's left in the stores. Spanx was very kind and gave us all they had left, but apparently a lot of stores stopped making them.”
“But maybe not many people want to wear full-body Spanx, especially in Las Vegas. It's hot.”
Adele went on to say that with the help of friends, she tracked down as many items in stock as possible.
She said: “So we've been panic buying and what was put in my dressing room today was definitely a small, definitely not a large.”
