“It's finally time!” Here's everything we know so far about Perrie Edwards' solo career.
Since Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have been working on solo music, with Leigh-Anne launching her solo career first in 2023.
Now, up next is Perry, who has officially released her debut solo single “Forget About Us” and announced that her second single “Tears” will be released on June 21st.
The 30-year-old signed with Columbia Records last year, which also includes Harry Styles and Beyoncé, and has already completed an album, most of which features songs written or co-written by Perry — a surprise even to her, as she initially claimed she didn't want to write songs.

When will Perrie Edwards release solo music?
Perry will release her debut solo single, “Forget About Us,” on April 12, 2024, and has now announced that her second single, “Tears,” will be released on June 21, 2024.
Two weeks before the release, she announced on her Instagram, “No more tears…single 2 coming.”
Who has Perry worked with on her new music?
As she prepares for her solo career, Perrie has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including longtime Little Mix lyricist Camille, up-and-coming producer Fred Again and legendary songwriter Steve Mac.

Her first solo single, “Forget About Us,” was co-written with Ed Sheeran, who you may remember originally wrote his smash hit “Shape Of You” for Little Mix to perform, but ultimately kept it for his own discography.
The album also features a collaboration with six-time Brit Award winner Raye, who visited Perry's home studio to write a song called “2-2,” which Perry says she's “really proud of,” and which is about her partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Perry told NME about working with the “Worth It” singer: “She came and it was the best day ever. Anytime I see her win an award or something happens I'm so happy because she deserves it. She's the sweetest, most genuine person but her talent is insane. When she opens her mouth I'm just in awe.”

What songs are on Perry Edwards' first solo album?
Perry debuted three new songs at a fan-only listening party in London, where attendees described two of the tracks as “very sad ballads” and two as “upbeat dance numbers.”
According to NME, the album contains everything from “Motown-esque” moments to “guitar-driven ballads” and tracks with “Mariah Carey vibes.”
“I wanted to make sure every song was [from] Artists from different genres participate in the album as sister and brother songs, so it's not a complete mismatch. It makes sense when you listen to it as a work of art.
