Rita Ora has teased details about her next studio album, but some fans may be disappointed.
The 33-year-old singer released a new single, “Ask & You Shall Receive,” last week, raising hopes that a new album will be released soon.
However, Star admitted to The Sun that a full-length release could be at least six months away, explaining: “The album is coming along well, we're taking it song by song to be honest.”
“I don't know if it'll be done this year, but the great thing about my label (BMG) is that they have the time and they're really chill.”
Her last album, “You and I,” was released last year with songs inspired by her planned 2022 wedding to Hollywood director Taika Waititi (48) and their successful marriage.
When asked if her next album would also focus on her marriage, Rita told the magazine, “I'm kind of bored with it at the moment… I want to move forward with music and have fun and do things that make me feel good. If it doesn't make me feel good, I'm not doing it, and I find that very liberating.”
Rita has been releasing music since 2012 and has had four number one singles, including her debut album, Ora, which topped the UK charts.
Her debut album was released in 2012, the sequel, Phoenix, came out in 2018, and her third album was finally released last year, so fans have had to wait years for an album.
