Nicki Minaj's second concert in Amsterdam has been cancelled following her arrest in the Netherlands last week.
The Starships rapper kicked off the European leg of his Pink Friday 2 World Tour at the Ziggo Dome in the Netherlands on May 23, and was scheduled to perform the second show on Sunday, June 2.
However, Dutch promoter Mojo announced on its website that the concert would not go ahead due to “events from last week” when she was arrested at the airport on May 25 on suspicion of drug smuggling.
A spokesman for the Dutch military police told BBC News that the case against Nikki has been closed and no action will be taken against her if she returns to the Netherlands.
The 41-year-old musician was detained by authorities after they found marijuana in her luggage. She was fined 350 euros ($380/US$300) and released a few hours later, but missed her scheduled performance in Manchester, England.
Nicki has since spoken out about her “horrible” treatment in the Netherlands.
“I don't know the last time I was this depressed about not going to Manchester,” she told fans on the livestreaming platform Stationhead. “Not only that, but just knowing that something was being done to me on purpose… but the way it was handled was just awful and I don't want anyone to go through that.”
The rapper's Manchester concert was cancelled at the last minute on Saturday and rescheduled for Monday, June 3. She performed another show at the same venue on Thursday night.
Nicki is yet to comment on the cancellation of her Amsterdam show.
